Compare the full proposal
A useful quote identifies the inspection, moisture repair, material handling, cleaning and verification separately. If a package consists only of a treatment time and a promise, ask for the missing scope before deciding. Keep written instructions for re-entry and any follow-up.
Questions before accepting a fogging package
Ask which materials are affected, whether physical cleaning or removal is included, and how the water source is corrected. Clarify what the product is intended to do on those surfaces. A claim about treating room air does not explain the condition of damaged porous materials.
Prepare only after receiving instructions
Occupancy, belongings and re-entry arrangements depend on the product and work plan. Request written directions from the provider and follow the applicable label requirements. If the scope does not explain what happens before and after treatment, ask for those details before scheduling the work.
